# Mining

Whether delving into the depths of Interlopers Cavern or traversing the mountainous terrain of the Northern Frontier, rare gems and ore await to be found! However, take note: rare resources do not come easy! Certain gems and ore are only obtainable upon reaching a certain mining skill level. As you gain EXP and start to become a master miner you’ll unlock more powerful tools and increase the speed you’re able to mine, making the discovery of rare items more likely.

To start mining, you can consult Gorm. This primate has been mining since you were a wee monkey. He has a passion for finding new caverns with untouched ore and will set you down the right path… if you can gain his trust.
