# Collecting

Collecting is a huge part of the Bitmates game! As an MMO based around digital collectibles, our game has an extensive achievements dairy. Every trait that you collect will help you progress in your achievements diary. Other achievements in the game include new encounters, like catching a new fish or mining a new gemstone.
